Carassauga Festival Inc.
Carassauga Festival Inc. was founded in 1985 to organize a city-wide multicultural festival to promote understanding, respect and cooperation among all Canadians of different heritage in the City of Mississauga. The Festival is made of different pavilions representing countries or regions of the world. Pavilions are operated by Mississauga-based non-profit organizations and depict the culture of their country/region of origin through food, music, art, dance, fashion shows, historical displays, games and vendors.

Carassauga Festival 2007 - new programming
This application is for the new programming initiatives that the festival wants to introduce for 2007 along with the addition of four new pavilions to the 25 present last year. New programming initiatives are (1) the establishment of an International Pavilion; (2) a new advance promotion event; and (3) a rethinking of the visitor experience.
