Italian Contemporary Film Festival
Inaugurated as a grassroots non-profit film festival in 2012, the Italian Contemporary Film Festival (ICFF) has developed into a multidisciplinary and multicultural organization that embraces all facets of the arts. Through its one-of-a-kind events that span from design to music, and from art to cinema, ICFF promotes Canada as dynamic cultural and artistic destination. The organization programs a second main Festival called the Lavazza IncluCity Film Festival, a multicultural film Festival in the Distillery District.

The ICFF IncluCity Festival
This application is for “2023 IncluCity Festival”, taking place June 27 to July 20, 2023, at the Distillery Historic District, with screenings at the TIFF Lightbox, Vaughan, and Hamilton. Following the success of the 2022 Festival, organizers are expanding programming with multiple screenings per day, live music, gastronomic elements, and a multicultural art exhibit. While the Festival and exhibition will be open and available to the public, the movie screenings will have a ticketed entrance which will include a complimentary culinary experience. Programming includes: (1) over 80 screenings at three outdoor film screening sites (and an indoor screening room inside the Young Centre in the event of rain). Each outdoor screening will feature a diffused wireless audio system allowing for an enriched sound experience. The festival will dedicate each evening to a different country and community in partnership with local and provincial organizations with the goal of showcasing an authentic picture of Toronto’s social and cultural fabric; (2) indoor screenings will take place at the TIFF Bell Lightbox (Toronto), Cineplex Cinemas (Vaughan), and Westdale Cinema (Hamilton); (3) “6IX Art Outdoors”, a free-of-charge art exhibit installed along Gristmill Lane will feature 24 one-of-a-kind statues, standing over 7 feet tall; (4) Musical and dance performances taking place at the main stage of the Trinity Cinema (details tbc).
