The Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) was established in 1941 by an act of the provincial government. RBG is recognized in Canada and throughout the world for its unique contribution to the collection, research, conservation, exhibition and interpretation of the plant world. It is one of the world's largest botanical gardens, including five gardens and four nature sanctuaries on over 2,700 acres of cultivated gardens and natural lands protected from the industrial and suburban encroachment of Canada’s most urbanized area.

Project Name: Earth Art Exhibition
Project Description:

"Earth Art Exhibition" is a new initiative by the RBG that will showcase renowned Canadian and international artists who will create one-of-a-kind environmental or ephemeral art installations on display throughout the cultivated gardens and natural lands. The Exhibition will be curated by world-renowned ephemeral art expert John K. Grande. Artists are Nils-Udo (Germany); Emilie Brzezinski (USA); Simon Frank (Canada); Neville Gabie (UK); Yolanda Gutierrez (Mexico); Ludwika Ogorzelec (Poland/France); Arthur de Mowbray (UK); Roy Staab (USA); Bob Verschueren (Belgium); Sharon Loper (USA).
