| Project Name: | Aboriginal Voyageur - The Rideau Canal Explorer |
| Project Description: | "The Aboriginal Voyageur - Rideau Canal Explorer" is a new cultural tourism package that will celebrate the 400th anniversary of Quebec as well as the nomination of the Rideau Canal as a World UNESCO site. There are two integral parts to this new program (1) a new package where visitors can paddle the Rideau Canal as "Voyageurs before a landing and trading re-enactment at Aboriginal Experiences on Victoria Island; and (2) an exhibit featuring the partnerships between Aboriginal communities and early French explorers |
