TWEED & COMPANY THEATRE is a registered charity, and is a creator and producer of original Canadian musical theatre, as well as quality professional grassroots regional theatre. Tweed & Company owns and operates the Marble Arts Centre in Tweed, and operates the Bancroft Village Playhouse. The company has been active since the fall of 2009, and has produced five large-scale original Canadian musicals, as well as countless other Canadian and international productions. Tweed & Company Theatre is based in Hastings County and also produces site specific work and special events.

This application is for "Tweed & Company 2026 Season Productions, Tour and Presentations,” taking place from June 26 to December 5, 2026, with shows across eastern Ontario including Marble Arts Centre in Tweed and Bancroft Village Playhouse. The 2026 season marks the fifth year Tweed has operated both venues (124 and 184 seats respectively) and represents their largest season to date, featuring four full-scale theatrical productions and the first five-venue eastern Ontario tour, along with over 25 one-night-only presentations of professional touring artists. Programming includes: (1) “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”: June 26–July 5 (11 performances) at the Marble Arts Centre in Tweed and July 8–19 (14 performances) at the Bancroft Village Playhouse in Bancroft; (2) “Fiddler on the Roof”: August 19–September 6 (21 performances) at the Bancroft Village Playhouse; (3) “Murder for Two”: August 28–September 6 (11 performances) at the Marble Arts Centre; (4) “Snow White”: November 27–December 5 (9 performances) at the Marble Arts Centre and December 9–19 (11 performances) at the Bancroft Village Playhouse; (5) Eastern Ontario tour of “Million Dollar Quartet”: September 17–19 (4 performances) at the Orillia Opera House, September 25–26 (3 performances) at Pembroke Festival Hall, October 2–3 (3 performances) at Brockville Arts Centre, October 14–18 (7 performances) presented by Dream Co Theatre in Whitby, and October 21–24 (6 performances) at Stirling Festival Theatre; and (6) A series of one-night-only shows featuring various musicians and performers taking place at both the Marble Arts Centre and Bancroft Village Playhouse.
