Incorporated in 2013, The Canadian Food Truck Festival (CFTF) is an Ontario based non-profit organization, whose mandate is to produce culinary arts and culture festivals across Ontario. CFTF currently produces three Food Truck Festivals: Toronto Food Truck Festival (TFTF), Pickering Food Truck Festival (PFTF) and Richmond Hill Food Truck Festival (RFTF). In 2016, TFTF, PFTF and RFTF hosted over 135,000 people at the three Festivals, the largest of their kind in the country.

Project Name: Oakville Food Truck Festival
Project Description:

This application is for the inaugural Oakville Food Truck Festival, a three-day, free, outdoor food and music festival taking place July 10 to 12, 2026 at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park in Oakville. Designed as a large-scale, family-friendly cultural attraction, the festival will showcase global street food, live music, and interactive entertainment in a highly accessible waterfront setting. Programming includes: (1) Culinary marketplace: a curated lineup of thirty food trucks serving dozens of international street food dishes, supported by a licensed bar and waterfront dining areas; (2) Main stage live music and entertainment: over twenty Ontario-based musicians, including tribute acts to The Tragically Hip, AC/DC, KISS, Pink Floyd, Courtney Love, and Journey, performing two daily sets each, with DJs and hosted eating challenges between performances; (3) Family and community zone: free children’s games and activities including hockey, soccer, basketball, football, axe throwing, artisan vendors, and interactive sponsor activations; and (4) Eating challenges and interactive programming: daily hosted eating competitions featuring audience participants, fun prizing, and continuous crowd engagement.
