Organization Name: County Stage Company
Organization Description:

Since its incorporation in 2006, County Stage has focused primarily on theatre productions, welcoming some of the country’s top stage artists to venues across Prince Edward County. From its early productions in historic barns, vineyards, pop-up storefront theatres, and outdoor spaces along the shores of Lake Ontario to its current home at The Eddie Hotel & Farm in Bloomfield, County Stage has produced over a hundred performances for both local residents and visitors to the area’s celebrated cultural landscape. In recent seasons, the company has expanded its artistic programming to include modern dance, comedy, music, and cabaret, exploring a broader range of disciplines. County Stage Company won the Ontario Tourism Resiliency Award in 2022 for the collaboration with The Eddie Hotel & Farm, recognition of the company’s contribution to regional festivals and events.
