| Project Description: | The application is for the 100th Anniversary of Timmins and The Great Canadian Kayak Challenge and Festival 2012. This annual Festival will be enhanced and expanded in 2012 as the major event at the end of the Centennial. All cultural programming during the weekend will have a focus on history and events of the past 100 years. The main enhancements to the Festival are (1) expanded cultural programming under the banner Arts & Cultural Routes, and (2) the addition of aboriginal and francophone components. |
