OCAF Executive Director Thomas Vaughan joined MPP Tyler Allsopp at the press conference and encouraged more local organizations to apply to the Fund.
Speaking about the growth of the local arts sector, Vaughan noted the remarkable momentum across the County’s cultural community.
“It’s really something to behold. You should all be very proud of it.”
With strong creative talent and growing events across the region, the future of arts and culture in Prince Edward County continues to look promising.
OCAF Outreach in Muskoka and Prince Edward County

On March 3, the OCAF team was in Picton, where MPP Tyler Allsopp joined Thomas Vaughan to meet with local arts and cultural organizations and share how the Fund helps support marketing and audience development for events, performances, and exhibitions across the province.
The workshop created a great opportunity to connect with potential applicants and answer questions about how organizations can access support.
OCAF is planning additional outreach sessions throughout the spring and summer across Ontario to connect with organizations and share how OCAF funding can support cultural events and audience growth across the province.
