Inaugural OCAF + Incite Foundation Funding Announcement

On May 20, Effie Triantafilopoulos, MPP for Oakville North – Burlington and Parliamentary Assistant to Stan Cho, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming, announced the inaugural recipients of the OCAF + Incite Foundation for the Arts Fund Matching Pilot Program at the Art Gallery of Burlington. MPP Triantafilopoulos was joined by Natalie Pierre, MPP for Burlington. 

Together, OCAF and the Incite Foundation are investing $100,000 in six local arts and cultural organizations across Hamilton and Burlington to help grow audiences, strengthen sustainability, and support vibrant community experiences across the region.

Upcoming events supported through the partnership include performances by Aeris Körper, the Burlington Latino Festival, and the Pride in Equity Celebration presented by the Hamilton Equity Diversity and Inclusion Roundtable.

Ontario communities are gearing up for FIFA World Cup 2026 celebrations with a series of public fan experiences, cultural programming, and community events designed to welcome visitors and bring fans together across the province. OCAF is supporting two major FIFA World Cup affiliated cultural festivals this summer:

The Bentway: FIFA Fan Festival Toronto
Toronto: June 11- July 19

The Bentway will host the FIFA Fan Festival Toronto, featuring live match screenings, cultural programming, food experiences, and community celebrations throughout the tournament.

Niagara Parks: Fan Zone by the Falls
Niagara Falls: June–July

Niagara Parks will host a FIFA World Cup Fan Zone experience at Niagara Falls, bringing together live broadcasts, entertainment, and visitor experiences at one of Canada’s most iconic destinations.

Music Niagara’s summer season brings together internationally acclaimed musicians for performances spanning classical, jazz, opera, and contemporary music in venues across the Niagara region. This year’s programming includes orchestral concerts, intimate chamber performances, and special collaborations featuring Canadian and international artists in wineries, churches, and historic spaces throughout the region.


Tweed & Company Theatre’s summer season features live theatre, concerts, and community programming across Eastern Ontario, including productions of Fiddler on the RoofThe 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Murder for Two. The season brings together residents and visitors for a vibrant summer of live performance and entertainment. Tickets are on sale now!


The Kingsville Highland Games celebrates Scottish heritage with traditional heavy athletics events, pipe band performances, Highland dancing, and cultural demonstrations. The event also features food vendors, family programming, and live entertainment, creating a full-day community festival experience.


Westben’s summer festival season features concerts and performances ranging from classical and jazz to folk and contemporary music in open-air barn venues and rural performance spaces across Northumberland County. The season brings together acclaimed artists and emerging performers for immersive live music experiences in a unique countryside setting.


Carrousel of the Nations celebrates Windsor’s cultural diversity through international food, live music, dance performances, and heritage experiences hosted across multiple cultural villages throughout the city. Explore traditions and cuisines from around the world while supporting local cultural organizations and communities
