On November 20, OCAF Executive Director Thomas Vaughan and OCAF Outreach and Development Officer Samantha Kaszas co-hosted the public announcement of OCAF’s pilot fund-matching program with Liz Sterling and Ed McMahon of the Incite Foundation for the Arts.
The event drew more than 75 attendees, including representatives from local arts and heritage organizations, regional destination marketing and tourism organizations, and the municipalities and Chambers of Commerce of Hamilton and Burlington.

OCAF Releases Results of its Inaugural Client Survey
During summer of 2025, OCAF surveyed 71 Ontario-based cultural organizations with OCAF-funded events from 2022–2025 to better understand the state of cultural tourism in the province.
The survey captured insights on current sector challenges, what’s working on the ground, and where organizations need additional support. These findings helped us identify program strengths and emerging opportunities, complete a cultural tourism sector health check, and celebrate the successes of cultural producers across Ontario. The results are already informing conversations with partners and policymakers as we continue to advocate for the needs of the sector and strengthen our support for cultural organizations.

LIGHTS ON STRATFORD
Lights On Stratford returns this winter with a new season of immersive light installations that transform the city’s downtown core. Running through the holiday period, the festival features large-scale artworks, interactive displays, and beautifully illuminated streetscapes created by local and international designers.
Visitors can explore multiple walkable zones, enjoy outdoor activities, and take in Stratford’s dining and shopping scene as part of the experience.
