Telling Tales Festival
Step into the magic of storytelling at the 17th annual Telling Tales Festival, October 4 and 5, 2025, at Hendrie Park in the Royal Botanical Gardens, Burlington. This free, family-friendly literary celebration features over 70 presentations by Canada’s top children’s authors and illustrators across five vibrant tents. Discover story walks, creative workshops, wandering characters, and interactive performances in music, dance, and puppetry. Enjoy the Book Swap & Shop, author signings, and outdoor readings for kids of all ages.


Forest City Film Festival
The Forest City Film Festival returns October 24 to November 2, 2025, in downtown London. Over nine days, FCFF will spotlight films rooted in southwestern Ontario as well as acclaimed national and international cinema. Beyond screenings, the Festival includes Q&As, workshops, community-focused events and parties. This 10th anniversary edition promises a rich mix of storytelling, artistic discovery, and cultural connection. Whether you’re a film buff or just curious to see something fresh, FCFF is a celebration of cinema, community and creativity.

The Promise of Music
Promise of Music is a five-day global celebration and summit, designed to explore and amplify the power of music as a force for connection, healing, and social change. Running October 6–10, 2025 in the GTA, the initiative features concerts, public forums, film screenings, workshops, and community events. Expect performances by international ensembles and youth orchestras, keynote talks on music’s societal impact, and immersive public programs that bring music into classrooms, galleries, and civic spaces.
