
Wake the Giant Music Festival
Wake the Giant Music Festival returns to Thunder Bay’s waterfront on September 6, 2025, with an unforgettable lineup headlined by the Black Eyed Peas. More than a music Festival, Wake the Giant is a celebration of inclusivity and culture, welcoming Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities to connect through world-class performances, art, and storytelling. Festival-goers can also enjoy an Indigenous craft market, local food vendors, and family-friendly activities.
Night Light Festival
Night Light Festival at Art Windsor-Essex will illuminate downtown Windsor from September 18 to 20, 2025. This three-day celebration of light and creativity features dazzling digital art and illuminated installations across public spaces and inside the gallery. Highlights include AWE at Night Light on Thursday with flashlight tours, hands-on workshops, and local food and drinks; a high-energy Night Light Party on Friday with EDM, lasers, and DJ sets; and Night Light Family Day on Saturday—a free, all-ages experience with creative studio activities and outdoor installations after dusk.


Water/Fall Festival
Toronto Waterfront BIA is set to debut the Water/Fall Festival across a two-kilometre stretch of waterfront this fall. Taking place over two weekends, September 27–28 and October 4–5, this free arts and culture Festival will transform the city’s shoreline into a vibrant hub of activity. Visitors can explore fall harvest markets, enjoy live music and dance performances, take part in interactive public art, and set out on boat tours along the harbour.
TIFF Festival Street
TIFF marks its 50th edition with Festival Street, September 4–14, 2025. In addition to more than 1,000 film screenings, King Street West will transform into a vibrant hub with live performances, mural painting, red carpets, and nightly open-air films at Cinema Park. New highlights include a Festival Street Food Market, refreshed Art Market, and a Canada’s Walk of Fame star unveiling, making this milestone celebration an unforgettable showcase of film, culture, and community.
