| Project Description: | This application is for the new and increased activities at the 12th Canadian Comedy Awards & Festival. These enhancements include (1) three new galas at the Bloor Theatre Cinema with famous Canadian performers; (2) a free outdoor component at Dundas Square during the entire event with screens showing clips from the past 12 years of the awards with special displays and animation as well as free performances and buskers; and (3) the addition of marquee hosts for the performance series in comedy clubs and theatres (Bad Dog Theatre, the Comedy Bar, Second City and Yuk Yuks). |
