The Town of Pelham is located in the centre of Niagara Region in the riding of Niagara West. Pelham is home to several extraordinary events, festivals, parks, and trails. City-run festivals and events include Canada Day festivities, Christmas in Pelham, National Indigenous History Month, and Pelham Summerfest (recognized six times by Festivals and Events Ontario as a ‘Top 100 Event’).

This application is for “Pelham Summerfest”, a four-day hometown style festival taking place July 18 to 2024 in downtown Fonthill (the commercial centre of Pelham). What began in 2011 as a single day, to celebrate the completion of the “Downtown Streetscaping” and to promote a pedestrian friendly town centre, has since grown to a four-day festival event which includes music & entertainment for all ages, children’s activities, retail & food vendors, arts, crafts, wine garden, beer pavilion and a Sunday car show. Each day of the Pelham Summerfest festival has a designated theme, including "The Opener" on Thursday, "Country Night" on Friday, "Street Festival" on Saturday, and new this year, “Family Day” on Sunday.
