Incorporated in 2014, the Museum of Toronto History is Toronto’s city museum, connecting Torontonians to the city and to each other. Through exhibitions, public programs, and digital storytelling, they explore the many histories of Toronto, from untold and rarely told stories to the people, places, and ideas shaping the city today. Over the past decade, Museum of Toronto has evolved from a grassroots initiative into a respected cultural institution with annual attendance of more than 50,000 visitors and over 270,000 digital engagements. With a proven record of compelling public programming, strong audience growth, and an expanding organizational capacity, the Museum of Toronto is now entering a transformative new phase with the opening of its first long-term home in downtown Toronto.
