Incorporated in 1990, Canada's Theatre Museum (CTM) is a nonprofit cultural organization located within the Elgin & Winter Garden Theatres in downtown Toronto, dedicated to preserving and presenting the history of Canadian performing arts through exhibitions, public programming, educational initiatives, and digital archives. The organization's existing programming has included rotating exhibitions, artist talks, partner events, and its Legend Library digital interview series, which has surpassed one million views.

This application is for "A Year of Openings", taking place from November 1, 2026, to October 31, 2027; a year-long sequential exhibition launch initiative following the completion of state-of-the-art renovations to Canada Theatre Museum's exhibition space.
