ChutneyFest is an event that showcases music, food & culture. It's a platform for local indo-caribbean talent to be heard and seen. Our vendors, exhibitors and food trucks add another element to this festival that goes all ties right back into ChutneyFest

This application is for “ChutneyFest 2026”, a large-scale multicultural music and cultural festival taking place July 24 and 25, 2026 at Gage Park in Brampton. Now in its thirteenth year and eighth year as a City of Brampton Marquee event, ChutneyFest has grown into one of Canada’s premier chutney soca festivals, celebrating Indo-Caribbean culture through music, dance, and community engagement. Programming includes: (1) Live music and cultural performances: two days of performances featuring more than 100 local artists alongside five international headlining acts, highlighting chutney soca music along with tassa drumming, steel pan, classical vocals, and Indo-Caribbean dance traditions; (2) Artist development and emerging talent: performances by young and emerging artists participating in CICF’s ADAPT (Artist Development and Performance Training) program, providing next-generation performers with the opportunity to share the stage with established international headliners; and (3) Community marketplace: a festival village featuring approximately twenty vendors and exhibitors offering food, crafts, and cultural products.
