Ontario Philharmonic Canada Day Concert
Description du projet
As part of Oshawas Canada Day celebrations the Ontario Philharmonic will perform an outdoor concert in front of approximately 50,000 people. The outdoor full orchestral performance will be the grand finale to the day-long celebration. Performance will start at 9 p.m. and it will include, among other classic works and other genre works, the National anthem and the 1812 Overture, which will be choreographed with the off shore fireworks extravaganza. In addition, Michael Burgess will perform earlier in the program. For this special concert, Ontario Philharmonic will rent an acoustic "saddle" shell to enhance the audience's experience.
