Victoria Jackman is Executive Director of the Hal Jackman Foundation, a private charitable foundation that provides grants to visual and performing arts organizations based in Toronto. Ms. Jackman received her B.A. and M.A. in Art History from Columbia University in New York. She also completed studies at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London and the University of Florence. Before becoming involved in the philanthropic sector, she was employed at both public and private art galleries in New York City and Florence.
Ms. Jackman has served on the Board of Directors of numerous cultural organizations in Toronto, including The Royal Ontario Museum, Opera Atelier, and the Canadian Art Foundation. She is active on the Photographic Curatorial Committee of the Art Gallery of Ontario, and is past-President of the Board of Directors of The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund and The National Ballet of Canada.
